vintage minolta rokkor 50mm f1.7 lens

I was gifted the Rokkor MD 50 f1.7 lens for my birthday from my loving sister. I purchased an adapter through K & F Concepts so I could use this lens on my Sony a7ii. I’m so thankful that some very smart people saw an opportunity to create and distribute lens adapters for vintage lenses to today’s modern cameras.

The lens was in a bit of rough shape but I cleaned the outside, removed the hoya filter that it had attached to the front and revealed that there was some clean glass with minor scratches.

I've definitely enjoyed the lightness that this lens offers, perfect for a walk around lens. Nailing focus has been a lot easier with this lens than some of the others I've used.

Below are some photos taken with this lens!
